dont say you cant some people hide there last log in and i want to see when was the last log in date so i can add them becuz if its hidden and they been gone from myspace for like 9 months i will know is it a code

Check their blog, at the very least youll see the last time they posted something.
Also you might consider this - it they have a highly developed page ( nice background, altered fonts, etc.), that MySpace is highly addictive (nobody can deny that!) - and they havent left, just are someplace else. If you arent getting any response, maybe they have another page now that they are using, which is very common - at least from the people I know there (they have multiple for this and that brand of friends/connections, just like business and personal email accts)
If the profile is private, youre locked out from all info, thats it. Sorry. The best you could do to get in is create a new profile with everything that you think they like and want to hear, and try to get them to accept you as a friend (hey, it worked for my friend doing it to get on her ex's list ;) He was trying to get back with her and denied the MySpace acct was his - said he had none, I created a new profile that I knew he would like, he accepted, I got all of the info I needed... scumbag asshole )
