my friend told me that she hides the myspace ads and shes never had any trouble with it. i want to know if anyone has ever had there myspace account deleted for hiding the ads? i don't really want my myspace deleted so i would like your help!

yes, you can be deleted for removing the ad

so if you have an enemy on myspace who has the ads hidden, click report abuse at the bottom of their profile

I don't think you can get deleted for hiding ads. There are plenty of myspacers that do it, and there are sites that have codes to hide ads. If you were going to get deleted, I think Tom would've had some post about it or something.

no i have my adds hid and i have never gotten my account deleted or anything done to it. your account will be fine trust me.

Well .. you know .. on my profile .. there aren't ads. Sooner or later, he will find out about it and it might be deleted. I do mine eveyr now and then so tha tmikine won't be deleted. :)

Ads are good for myspace people (the people who own it) because every time you get on the site .. it charges 10鍨?every time you visit there. but you're not paying for that .. the advertisents are paying THEM. So give some love to them. :)

Hiding ads are against the rules.

However, hiding the copyright isn't against the rules, unless you are stealing the myspace template for another site. That's all.

A word of notice "Tom" doesn't decide if your profile gets deleted, however myspace technical staff does. 9 times out of 10 it happens if someone reports you, otherwise no one is going to stare at your profile for hours to wait to see if you did something wrong. (unless they are some crazy psycho stalker).
